Nick Taylor and team are running a two day teaching workshop within Sri Lanka’s most modern and well developed emergency department- Teaching Hospital Karapitiya (THK) Emergency Trauma Centre in beautiful colonial Galle.
Nick, an emergency physician from Canberra, Australia recently spent 6 months with the team at THK and has constructed a program centred on their needs.
Sessions will include;
- Bedside Ultrasound
- Non Invasive Ventilation
- DSI and RSI
- Status Asthmaticus Management
- Management of Major Trauma
THK is becoming a nucleus of emergency training in Sri Lanka and this workshop will add to the already well developed EM training program (link to SLEM)
