One of the core aims of DevelopingEM is to deliver high-quality educational experiences that not only inspire clinicians but also contribute meaningfully to their ongoing professional development.
We are pleased to announce that DevelopingEM 2026 educational activities have been approved by the
Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM)
for the 2026 CPD year.
Whether you are joining us for the full scientific program, one of our intensive workshops, or both, your participation can contribute directly to your Continuing Professional Development requirements.
ACEM Approved Activities
The following DevelopingEM 2026 activities have received ACEM CPD approval:
| Activity | Approved CPD Hours |
| Scientific Program (3 Days) | 27.5 hours |
| Advanced Emergency Ultrasound Workshop | 12 hours |
| Paeds BASIC Workshop | 18.75 hours |
| Radiology Interpretation Workshop | 3 hours |
| EMS Management Workshop | 7 hours |
All participants will receive a certificate of attendance detailing the educational activities completed, hours attended, and areas of skill development undertaken during the conference.
International Delegates
DevelopingEM attracts clinicians from across Australasia, North America, Europe, the Caribbean, and beyond.
While direct accreditation through international colleges and specialty boards has not been arranged for 2026, delegates from outside Australasia can generally submit their DevelopingEM attendance certificates and supporting documentation to their own professional colleges, specialty boards, or accrediting bodies for consideration of equivalent Continuing Professional Development (CPD/CME) recognition.
Requirements vary between jurisdictions, and delegates are encouraged to check with their local accrediting organisation regarding specific documentation requirements.
DevelopingEM will provide attendance certificates and supporting information to assist with these applications.
